Why do agencies charge monthly retainers for SEO?
SEO compounds: content, authority, and technical health build on each other month over month. A retainer funds consistent work — publishing, link earning, optimization — which is what actually moves rankings. One-time "SEO packages" that promise permanent results are the biggest red flag in this industry.
Are there setup fees or long-term contracts?
No setup fees. Engagements are month-to-month after an initial 90-day commitment — long enough for the work to show, short enough that we have to keep earning your business. Web design projects are quoted as fixed-price projects instead.
What if I just need a website, not ongoing marketing?
